Can anyone can get a picture of the air door on their shaker scoop (from inside car) showing what (if anything) originally covered the metal door?

74GOATBOY, I don't have any pictures. But, it looks like a closed-cell black foam rubber with an adhesive-type backing, approx 15 mils thick. Mike.

Thank you (several months late) for your reply. I did not understand what you were describing at the time, but over the weekend our GTO club had it's annual picnic and there was another '74 complete with the foam tape you described. Thanks again!!
