Default fan w/ shroud or electric fan only?

need opinions on what would be optimal for cooling on the street, my 71 ventura will have a warmed 455 in it, the motor went high 12s in a heavier car, same gear ect ect, so it will be a 12 sec ride no matter what, i will be running a 4 core griffin aluminum rad, auto trans, 3.73s, i will drive it a lot on the street, which would be the better choice, a stock fan set-up with the stock shroud, or an electric puller fan only? if the electric choice, what cfm is anyone running for cool results on the street? thanks for any info. jeff.

I'd go with the shroud. I had an electric fan but got rid of it. I figured it was blocking air flow when it wasn't. And actually it didn't help cooling all that much. Just my .

Jeff
try this thread, it may help you out.
I will be converting to an electric fan on my car when I get the chance.
