Default Junkyard Radiator in a '66?

Hi! Quick question: Can you use a late model aluminum radiator out of a junkyard, in an old Pontiac? I've got a '66 Bonnie with a 455, what would work size wise? Heat wise? Why dont people do this?

If you can find something to fit it would be great but most new cars have smaller radiators. Maybe from a pickup truck?
