OUTSTANDING!, what a great tool for anyone looking for details.
I looked over all your images ans that is truly in amazing condition.
I have a minor request, could you take some close ups of the fuse block?
Thanks

As someone who has pieced a '67 wagon back together, had a very original '67 Bonneville, and is now building yet another '67 wagon, these pictures are an extremely valuable reference. You can't find photos of a car this nice, even the GM literature of the time wouldn't have been that detailed. This is a great example of "as built" in 1967. Anyone doing a restoration on one should take note of these pictures for reference. Big cars get no love so this is a great find.

I'll keep taking them!!! Took my 8 year old to soccer practice tonight with the wagon. Had to make a stop down a gravel road to take a couple more

Well, I made a decision. I have posted the car on epay at a price that I would sell the car for. Is this amount to high? Will I get bids???? I guess I don't know or care. This is the amount that I would sell the car for and I can tell my wife that I have it listed for sale

I was able to sell enough parts to get close to covering the cost that I needed for repairs to my 65 Ventura so I am not in "need" to sell anymore, but this would make it a lot easier for me to get the 65 completed the way I want.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/271895228422...84.m1555.l2649

I guess we will see what happens, I do believe the car is well worth the starting price, who knows if others agree or not.

I paid $15K for mine this last winter on eBay and I would think yours has similar value to mine. Yours has a more appealing look but mine has lower mileage.

What they are both missing to get into the mid 20's is woodgran.

Some close ups of the car, engine paint looks different than the 67. No gauges like yours but a neat warning lamp option... low fuel, seat belts and headlamp reminder.

For you Ram Air GTO Judge guys here is the look you need for your air cleaner lid, stud and wingnut.

Car was won in a TV show, what he actually won was a stripper Firebird worth $3k so he ponied up the extra $2k to get this car.

Amazingly clean underdash (kickdown and AC components)

On the bottom of the first pic you can see the bottom of the window sticker, note the spelling of Verdoro Green.

North, yours is an interesting '69, would like to see more pics and a build sheet. Maybe you have a thread somewhere here on it. Ventura package wagons are rare. As much as I like the styling and interiors of earlier wagons, the '69s had a lot of improvements.

That seemed like a short romance. Why sell it ?

My wagon is in far worse shape and I can't bring myself to selling it, although I could really use the extra space in So.Cal. I get far more looks and walk ups in my wagon than my GTO. The difference is amazing really.

Yea, very short. The plan was to own/drive it till I got the 65 done and sell it at that point, but I made the decision after I purchased it to have the guy doing the body repairs to simply have him move forward with paint and putting the body back together for me. That was not in my plans. Although I never did plan to hold onto the wagon for very long, the more I spoke with the body guy and thought about how long it has taken to get the 65 to the point that it is now, it only made more sense to have them get the paint completed and to sell the wagon to fund it. At the rate I was going, it would have been 2-3 more years before I would get the 65 done, now there is a real chance I can have it back together before spring of 2016.

It is not abnormal for me to buy something and change directions. Some of it is that I like the chase of these cars and parts just as much as I like owning and driving them. I have learned a lot over the last few years and have decided that I am never again going to say that I plan to keep anything. I am always searching for that next find and believe that that is what I will end up doing from here on out. Not as a business, but for my own enjoyment of buying a car, cleaning, fixing, driving and selling. To me there is a rush in that chase. This also helps to fund my projects so that I don't have to put any financial burden on my family funds. That all being said, I don't want to be w/out a car on the road ever again though so I am going to do my best to always have 2 cars. One that is a driver and some type of project car.

I don't golf, fish, go to bars, concerts or anything else. I almost look at those as a liability in that they cost a lot of money with no return (other than a lot of fun )when I can have as much or more enjoyment of fixing something and having an asset at the end. I love working in the garage on my cars, going to salvage yards to pick parts, driving around to shows, swap meets and all of it. I guess it must be some kind of disease as it takes a lot from me to make sure I keep number one focus on my kids and family. I don't ever want to have them feel like they are 2nd, so I have reduced my activities to cars and mostly in my garage so that I am home all the time. My kids are involved in every sport that they can be and I make sure that I attend or help coach every sport. They are now old enough to start helping me on these cars also. I had my oldest cleaning an SD dual quad intake last night with be before we went to the neighbors bonfire. I buy the Ice Cream every time they go to a show with me to build that memory. We have made this fun for the family and my kids are always wondering what is going to show up next.

Soooo.........Next up is going to be my 63 GP. I am going to pick that up in July and bring it back home. Take the trim, bumpers and such off of the car and send it off to the same guy that is doing my 65 to have it done..............that is the current plan in my head, but as I said before, things change.

I do agree about these wagons and from anyone that has owned one, I hear the same thing. I have had a few cars over the years and the greatest thing about owning a wagon is that almost everyone smiles when they see it. You see people going to opposite direction just get a huge grin on their face when they see the wagon, you don't always get that with a GTO, Firebird, Camaro or any other muscle car, but the wagon just does that to people. Brings them back to when they sat 3rd row and went on trips. They are naturally approachable. Now this statement is not fact and most guys are good, but is based on my observations of a few guys that I know. Muscle car owners can sometimes be a standoffish and if you touch their car or get to close, they get all pissy and are not always the most friendly people. On the other hand, a person that is cruising around in a wagon with car seats in the back would generally be a caring family man that most people feel comfortable talking to. In addition, the appeal of a wagon is for most everyone from little kids to muscle car fans all the way up to the elderly. There are not many people that don't love these wagons, but not everyone enjoys a loud muscle car. You are also likely to go to a car show and see several A-body cars, but how many wagons or full size Pontiacs for that matter? Again, generalizations and not based on facts, just some observations that I have noticed after owing and driving 2 different wagons as well as a few muscle cars.

Not sure why, but felt I needed to get that out.
Long live the Darkside!!!!
