First, it'd have to be something custom made (I suspect). Second, if it isn't just
right, it'll do more harm than good? I've read about some folks spraying Plasti- Dip and peeling it later. Another idea might be vinyl wrap? Dunno. Thinking out loud. HTH. |

A guy in our club has a restored Can Am. He has won trophies at Norwalk (about 3 hrs drive)and other shows. What he did was a make a screen affair that slides into(the large perforated oblong holes in bumper) something onto frame. Fastened somehow for travel, then slides it off for show. Keeps the front from bugs and chips.

I had a bra on my 82 firebird. Loved it. I liked the way it looked (of coarse this was the 80's) and I suppose it did a good job of keeping bugs off. I would have no idea where to find one today especially for that car. I cant imagine there is that much call that a company would make them. Mine had built in tabs, slots and hooks, I would imagine custom making one would be quite a task for an experienced trimmer. If you could find a generic one that may shed some light on how to fabricate.
After all that, I have seen a clear tape material that clings to the paint without damage and is supposed to prevent chips and bugs and such. I have seen them advertised for Porsches and the like. |

In order to determine where to find the right bra you will first need
to determine your cup size. |

Back in the '80's, I always got a kick out of the cars with faded, beat to hell, paint - but the part that was under a bra looked brand new!

Victoria’s secret might have one. They also do custom fittings.
JC Whitney always had that type of stuff.

Muscle cars are masculine. No bra.
Seriously, I just don't see the front end design as amenable to any automotive bra design, later slope-nose cars with bottom breathing seem a more suitable use. I like the disposable clear film idea. Unless you're thinking those ugly 80s things made of screen material that snowbirds put on their Buicks for lovebug season in FL? |

I had a bra for my 1979 Formula, and it was ok until it rained, the black paint on the nose would fade to white. Once it sat in the sun for a bit it would go back to black. But.... that was with urethane paint, not the original paint.
As for your 67 GTO Mxtrainer, I've never seen a bra for any of the cars for that age. Not even for any Pontiacs before 1979, They could have been out there, but I don't remember seeing any in the after-marker catalogs other than plastic screens. And they looked like crap on a car.

Walmart.com lists a universal fit bug screen for cars and trucks, but it's shown as out of stock. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Victor-SU...905-8/51629066
To be period correct, you'd need one of these sorts of things - they sold them at auto parts stores up through the 1960s. |

LMAO! Stewart, those are the ones I referred to. Ugly doesn't even describe it.
Gee, what's those things sticking out of it at the bottom? It looks like a cupless bra to me. LMAO!

That looks like it still needs a bra, though.

I bet if you went to a upholstery shop they could fab something up for you even something rudimentary for traveling to shows

Yep, that's what they are. The 2-legged female "bumperettes" is where they were modeled from. Some big some small and the rest just faded away.
Tho not the same as what you'd find looking up bumperettes online.
