Default FloorPans

So I have started getting a little dirty now and lifting the old bitumen sheets on the floor pans inside the car.

Was quite pleased. Small amount of pitting under the pedal area but nothing of concern.

Will start on passenger side later this week.

Whilst inside I noticed an area around the backseat on drivers side that has had some extensive beating from underneath the car. My thoughts are it was done for muffler clearance. The car suffered some beating to the inner guards by Pontiac Engineers for tyre clearance. Is this something they may have done also. If not I will rectify the area and flatten it out prior to painting.

Any thoughts on this one.
