Default 69 Firebird 400 from the oldest Pontiac dealer in Texas ?

Finally did the trade with my buddy and he got his old 78 Formula W72 4 speed project back he bought 20 years ago (never had it running but is now) and got his 69 Firebird 400 car that he had bought 15 years ago that he had made a little hot rod out of .. I did a PHS on it to learn its origin story etc and after web searching the results for Schuch Motor Co in San Angelo TX I ran across the obit of the dealer owner and little gold nugget that apparently that was the oldest/first dealer of Pontiacs in Texas unless I find out otherwise and went back to 1926 as a Oakland dealer but still seem odd that it wouldn't be in Dallas or Houston IDK "They moved into town in 1947 When he joined his father, E.H. Schuch in the Schuch Motor Co. Automobile dealership. The Pontiac dealership was the oldest one in Texas having been started in 1926 even before the name was changed to Pontiac. He bought the dealership from his Father and in 1971 moved the Pontiac and Toyota Dealership from Oaks and Beauregard to Knickerbocker Rd.. In 1987 he sold the Dealership to Mike Mitchell, Sr."

Pretty wild they started that early and stayed in the business that long.
