Hello.

I am looking to purchase a front mounting bracket for my center console. (automatic). I need to purchase the mounting screws as well.
Can someone tell me exactly how to install the mounting bracket. Does anybody have pages 297 & 299 of the GTO Restoration Guide in PDF? From what I understand, those pages have all the details of the installation, etc..
I assume its mounted under the carpet using additional screws and spacers.
Seems pretty straight forward but wanted to ask before I purchase the bracket, screws, etc..

It mounts directly to the floor with screws then you cut the carpet around the two humps that the console will screw to.
