Default 1970 ram air air cleaner brackets

Does anyone have a pic of the studded air cleaner with studs on an ac car? I just noticed a pic my Facebook group member sent me of his ra3 stick with no ac and it mounts in same location as the ac bracket that holds the dip stick I think. Looking at it I realize the air cleaner bracket must go over the ac bracket. Do I space bracket with a washer under it and add washers to compensate the difference on other side.? I want the air cleaner level and lifting it up that 1/8 to 1/4 will that still close correctly on the hood boot clearance. Im.just puzzled at moment. Please share pics or explanations. I'm still learning but happy to learn. I even thought of cutting passenger side bracket and welding it to the ac bracket to lower air cleaner. I'm also wondering if the non stud air cleaner is for ac cars. I have seen pics of a non studded ram.air air cleaner that was put on Facebook. I'll learning detail and want to do this right. Thank you

Default 1970 ram.air non studded air cleaner

This is ram air air cleaner I seen on face book off a low mile formula. I noticed it looks correct but no studs. Did ac cars have a studded air cleaner? Another solution would be not run support brackets but worried about stressing the carburetor. I think that's why brackets where used and not to bend the air cleaner.

Couple things .
1. No special air cleaner for Ac, vs Non Ac.
2. 70, most 71 and some early 72' s " seem" to have studs. Always some exceptions. GTO did not use studs as I recall.
3. When working correctly, as designed , only one snorkel works when warmed up. To get Both snorkels working the car Must be 1. Warmed up, 2. In high gear, 3. WOT.
So, most folks don't use it the way it was designed.
4. The brackets. The original boots ( I have owned a few sets) had a woven reinforced bellows. This was, is , " stiffer" that the cheaply made GMO rubber units available now.
So, the brackets helped hold up the ram air " pans" on the air cleaner. Factory brackets were 2 guages thicker metal than the reopos.
If you choose to run the brackets, you should leave the wing nuts off till All your carb, choke adjustments are done.
I do have some ramair hardware kits left. $30 bucks shipped.

From what I can see, screenshot RA air cleaner is a '74 or reproduction unit.
