Ponyakr, I just tried sending you a message but it said your inbox was full. I will try the email option to see if that works

That's what I used on my Firebird with headers without the remote adapter.
And a WIX 51258 fits.

For those still inclined to use a LS engine filter, the changeover to metric threads happened around 2007-2009. Not sure on the exact date. My 2006 5.3 Silverado uses 13/16 threads, and my 2015 6.0 Express has 22mm threads. Found this out last weekend when changing oil between the two. And of course I had two 22mm filters on hand.

I didn't know either until I saw yours and Quicks posts .

If you click on his user name and go to his profile -
then select - find all posts -
his wife came on board and posted in 2 different threads about his conditions in April-May-June of 2022.
He died in early June 2022 , age was 72 or 73

Yup, Don was a really good guy. Researched alot of things for members here. Called on his racing experiences to help folks out. I spent the first half of 2022 in the hospital. My wife told me they had to use the paddles to bring me back so I was real unhappy that Don could not be saved. Discovering when I got home that Don was gone was a bummer. He sent me several PM's to help me out over the years and I'm saving the old HO decals he sent me.
RIP Don.
