A rare fan, wonder what it's worth?

Not a clutch fan nor even a flex fan. Bet it howls like crazy at high RPM, if you can get the belts tight enough.

Exclamation VHTF

NOPE, never hear any fan noise while rolling down the interstate.

It's a nice fan used on '66-'67 OHC 6 with AC.
VHTF. It took me well over 4 years to secure a replacement.

I'd value this package as a good deal. And Ron is a fellow Cammer!

I’d imagine all the OHC fans were 18” instead of 19-19.5”

What did they do for 68-69 AC cars? A clutch fan?

Good Question, they only allowed A/C on the 1bbl cars in 68 & 69. I have never actually seen one.

I am not on face book, could someone contact the seller for me? I am interested in the fan for my Firebird to replace the flex fan it came with

'68-'69 AC equipped models utilized a new veritable pitch (Flex) type fan.

Interesting, that is what my 67 Sprint fan looks like. Always thought it was stock.

I don't have enough info on the Firebirds with AC so it could be.
Is your '67 a late build?

Interesting, that is what the current fan on my late 67 (1st week of June 67) FB fan looks like. I assumed it was not stock. Now I am not so sure. I will try to see if I can ger a P/N off of it.

Is this what your birds fan looks like?

The 69 accessorizer seems to differ from this. I looked at the following official price lists for 69 (sept 68-pocket and regular versions, jan 69-pocket, apr 69 update and the firebird only sept 69 pricing update) and here is what they say:

691-K02 Clutch fan:
Firebird: Sept 68, n/a base 6 with or without AC (therefore
optional with Sprint?). This is revised in Jan 69
and all subsequent updates to n/a any 6

Tempest: Sept 68, std with AC, n/a w/o AC on base 6. revised
in Jan 69 and all subsequent updates to n/a any 6

692-KB2 Power Flex:
Firebird: Sept 68, optional any 6 w/o AC, same for Jan 69
but later updates add n/a AC with manual trans
(which doesn't change availability for 6's
anyhow-probably refers to V8 only?)

Tempest: Sept 68 & Jan 69, std with AC, revised in
Apr 69 to n/a with AC, optional w/o AC

To summarize the Clutch fan: Early was standard with AC on Tempest and optional for Sprint only on both Fbird and Tempest. However in Jan 69 they seem to indicate that it wasn't offered on any 6 on either platform, however given what I've seen elsewhere it could just mean that they simply made the clutch fan standard on all AC 6 cars and removed it as an option otherwise.

To Summarize the flex fan: Early it was standard with AC on Tempest (but not Fbird) and optional on Fbird w/o AC. Later on Tempest it was not n/a with AC but now optional w/o AC.

The most obvious problems are that the accessorizers say that both the clutch and flex fans were standard with AC on Tempests, they also state that the clutch fan on Tempests was not offered on the base 6 despite saying it was standard with AC (despite AC being offered only on the base 6) . I'll compare this to the fan page in the shop manual when I get to my garage.
