Kudos to you sir...People are anxious to tell you that on a Pontiac it's not truly a ram air system because of the hood scoop design. While that may be true, it is still a cold air intake, if you install it properly, because only outside air is routed to the carb.
There's no way I would have put those RA ll heads on there without doing it... It rates right up there with a turnover on the one yard line...lol

Surgery completed. Greg, I don't know how you did this with the hood on! I bet the mechanics at the dealers hated doing this back in the day.
I posted some pics and tips in the instructions thread. All in all, it's relatively painless if you're careful.

I saw that, it looks fantastic!
It wasn't that bad doing it that way for me. Variable speed grinder with a locking trigger made it possible to hold it with both hands for good control.
