Default 1979 Interior question

I have looked through Rocky's great book, and looked through some saved data I had, but found no answer to this.
A nice guy who currently painting my buddies 1970 Formula 4 speed car has a 1979
Oyster T/A with a 6.6 Litre. His BiL bought it new.
It has the multi tone Blue hood bird and a Blue 24B1 interior.
I have never seen one of these blue seats with the Hob nail inserts in BLUE!
My 79 T/A 6.6 had the 24N1 and blue bird which I thought was cool, but this
Blue cloth with Hob Nail blew me away.
I can find no reference as to how many were ordered. ( hard to believe it was a floor plan car)..
Anyone know, or even seen one in BLUE??
I know Blue deluxe was in the '78 "Skybird" package, but the Cloth was still an option on that car. I assume thats an easy upgrade that people would pay for on an esprit thats already blue... but a loaded 79 T/A?
Thoughts?

1979 Hobnail was available in Black, Blue, Camel and Carmine. It was even offered in 1978 on certain models.

What's a floor pan car?

Our 79 was originally dark blue and had the light blue hobnail seats. Pretty basic car- no t tops, no WS6 package, auto.

Floor plan cars were the ones auto shipped to dealers based on their volume and economy in that market.. ( Not special ordered) and floor plans always included a
"bare bones" Price point model they could put in the newspaper.
Floor plan cars in most cases were "owned" by Dealers but they didnt have to pay interest on them till one year from the interest date which is on a PHS at bottom, and on the Delivery Bill of lading.

On the Blue, was looking for how many were made in 79.

I've seen a lot of blue hobnail interiors in 79's , and none of them popped like the seats in your picture of the painters car.
Maybe his were pro reupholstered.
They don't even look sat in, and the console / dash look refreshed.

Not knocking it , just saying I never thought blue hobnail looked good in person.
And seen some creampuffs.
But his does look good

I sure like those seats better than the "gorse collar" style seats that were used for several years before...
