Question Distributor 1112009

I have a 1112009 housing that I'd like to build and need some guidance. I bought a 1112008 for the shaft but is the cam the same? I have a complete unit that's a 1112009 and want to shift it and run a custom with a patronix pointless module in it. The stock 2009 has shaft cam number I think is 722 cw and the 2008 has a 532 cw shaft. Are cams the same just different springs on top? Another thing is the 2009 is a hardened gear. How do I know if the 2008 is hardened. They look very simular in color, not sure where part number is located at. Also I have a 1112121 from.a 1972 that's currently in car that might have correct gear, a 1969 1111952, and a 1973 1112201. Im.not to thrilled about taking the 1111952 apart if I don't have too since it's rare. Another thing I noticed is the stock 2009 came with vacume advanced number 365 and has a 20 stamped on it. Does that mean 20° of vacume advanced? I want to get a vacume adjustable advance from.summit to fine tune it when done. I do plan on having compresss brought down to run on California 91 octane but at moment just trying to.build it. I hope the shaft number is dictated by top spring tension . Someone school me, please.

The shaft is a sub assembly and the springs AND weights can be different.
As far as I can tell, and I have used both and had them side by side the Cams are the same.
Pertronix will eliminate the mechanical points but still the weights and springs are tunable to your engine.
Get your CR to 9.0 or 9.1 and you can run 89 octane. The stock cast replacement piston will do that job and last a long time.

This may helps some:
1969 late GTO RAIV distributor #1111970 has the exact same parts as the early #1111941 unit.
