I asked my mom - who had more say about colors on the car - even if mom and dad weren't married yet - about the colors on their car. They wanted black - nothing else.
I LOVE a red interior in a black car. I asked if they would have gone for that? No way.
Red is too obtrusive; I guess the current lingo would be "in your face"!

Do you think the "batmobile" still exists?

P/S was added and so was a dual master cylinder, but the brakes are still manual.
My pops says the brakes are fine!

Yes, it's in New Jersey now, undergoing a 20+ year restoration (the guy who bought it from me is obviously not in a rush).
