Default Windshield and Rear Glass Rubber choices?

I was thinking some 61-62 Tempest did not have the stainless trim around front and rear glass? In looking for replacement glass channel rubber seals I thought for sure you could get the rubber with or without "reveal Molding" but I am not seeing this now. I checked the new Ames Catalog and it list just one rubber seal per window style but doesn't really say with or without reveal molding. I also checked Steele Rubber Co. and it list "with" reveal molding for the Lemans and Sport versions windshields but didn't mention the standard coupe. On the rear glass it list the standard coupe as one part number (they have wrap around rear glass) and it also list the LeMans and Sport Rear (Flater rear glass) but doesn't really say with or without reveal molding? I am going to call them to see what they offer. Can anyone tell me
#1. Did some base model Tempest not have trim around the front and rear glass?
#2. Who sells the Non-reveal molding glass channel rubber?
I have a standard 2 door coupe with the wrap around rear glass and I was hoping to make it a no trim stripper car but this reveal no reveal trim has me wondering if I can get no reveal rubber?
Any help?
Thanks!

Ames gets their seals from Steele. I don't know the difference but in reality there is only one choice. Pat

I called Steele this morning. Apparently all Tempest had reveal molding on the front glass but the rear glass on the sedans/coupes with the wrap around glass (not LeMans or Sport) only had trim at the bottom of the rear glass and NO reveal molding on the sides and top. Can someone verify that for me?

That brings up a new subject. I need that lower rear glass trim for a sedan/coupe. I also could use one of the front windshield trim pieces from the driverside. Anyone?

I have a new windshield seal not yet installed that I bought from Steele. Once I get the top painted again I will use it. It does have the trim around the glass. The rear window I still need because they dont offer a 4 door rear window seal.

I will check dvap next time I am there for the stainless you need. I am sure they have it.

Is the 4 door rear window seal the same as the standard coupe? I thought they were?

May want to also check with www.soffseal.com they used to have everything for the 61-63's. Dont see anything on their site anymore or I may not be looking in the right spot for it. Give them a call. They may still stock it.

Not true

My 63 standard coupe does not have stainless trim on the windshield. Just a rubber gasket.
