I just found an original 8-track tape player for a 1970 GTO. Does anyone have, or know where I can get the harness that hooks the tape player to the AM/FM radio? Or does anyone have the proper wiring diagram for this application, then I can make my own harness. Thanks.

I have an orginal tape deck in my 69 FB. Can't remneber exactly what the wiring harness look like. But if you don't get any help I can look and report back. I do remember it was all local wiring and nothing was needed back to the fuse panel. The radio connections went directly to the tape deck and the tape deck made the connections to the speakers.

Yes, the harness only goes from the tape deck to the radio. Power and sound are controlled from the radio. There are 6 wires that go between the tape player and the radio. If you can tell me where they match up to then I can make a harness to connect the tape player. Thank you for your help.
