Default 68 gto 8.2 bop 30in. axle HELP

dumb question
from inner side of bearing to
end of spline is 1/4 longer on
mosers that arrived
any concerns ?
30 in vs 29.75

Does the new axle have the button on the end for C-Clips? My axles said 8.2/8.5, thus the 8.2 with press on bearing and 8.5 with C-Clips. The original 8.2 axles wouldn't have the button on the end.

30 in. axle hits crosspin
29.75 is correct length
grind/chamfer
