Default No vin number on block

Good evening guys thank you for letting me join here.
I Have a 70 TA I would like to verify that the motor is original motor. I have cleaned the spot we’re the Vin number should be stamped on the passenger side of the block .There’s definitely no numbers there. Dead Smooth 4 speed car block number, WS that’s a good sign but there’s definitely no vin number on the passenger side and I’ve looked on the drivers side a little harder to see, but definitely nothing there. Any other options for me to verify this motor. Or if it was a factory swap, is there a way to find out if it was actually a factory swap. I know there’s been a lot of questions about this on the forum and I’ve read quite a few Getting tired of laying under the car and not finding anything .Thanks in advance.
