Default 70 ram air IV judge on ebay

Didn't know if this one has been discussed yet (didn't see it; if so, disregard). I was really curious about the orbit orange paint with black vinyl top. I've always read that it wasn't a thing, "you couldn't get a black vinyl top with orbit orange". I never understood this statement, I always thought dealers could order whatever they wanted. The trim tag photo is blurry, but it looks like 06B. Is it a mis-print from dyslexia? Should it have been 60B?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Pontia...VblcMS&vxp=mtr

Thanks, Cole

It is correct on the tag.
There is a bulletin (I posted it before I believe) explaining it.

Nice Judge!

John, thanks. Where would I look to find the bulletin for this? Always been curious.

Thanks

Sometime later, I think they changed it to '60'
(which I think I have that bulletin but would have to search for it)

'T' is also a code for Orbit Orange, which would be on the PHS probably as the color code.

What does your cowl tag say for yours?

Most OO cars didn't come with Vinyl Tops
But you could get any color Vinyl Top they offered when ordering one.

Another OO RamIV Judge with Vinyl Top just sold a couple weeks ago.
It had sandalwood interior and sandalwood top .

Vinyl top on a judge just does not work for me. To bad the one in Indiana had a sandllewood top. Other than that it was a great car.

You would think someone selling such a rare and desirable car would put a little more effort into the listing.

Vinyl top on a Judge looks great! Some colors better than others.

Shilling is rampant with all types of eBay ads.

The next bid will probably meet reserve .
Sport Bidding usually takes it to that point - if thats the case.

A real well done OO IV 4speed should be worth that
Maybe more without Vinyl Top

For this kind of money you would think they would have used a 70 drivers door on the restoration and not a 71, 72 drivers door and under coating in the rear wheel wells. Unless i'm wrong on the under coating being there

Okay Cole, you got me this time.
On your OO movie star car i'd leave the vinyl top on it.
Any other car i'd rip it right off.

Dazed & Confused is too legendary to mess around with like that.

Yeh, he has the car they cloned to use in the movie.
My youngest brother would marry a 400lb fat chick to own that car.

------------
I guess this auction needed 2 more bids to hit Reserve.
It got 1 more and went to 149,700 - reserve not met.
Ended

I know what you mean ,,,they should of researched better,,doesnt look good with the paint in the wheel wells like that and a incorrect door, wrong alt. bracket. Looks like wrong year master cylinder too. Front end sits too high for me.
