The color change is an improvement IMO. One of the more attractive Machos that l've seen.

The Village People song Macho Man ruined these cars sales potential in the day.
We made fun of these cars.
There were 2 in my town but they vanished within a year.
I wouldn't have been caught dead in one , unless the decals were removed.

They should have beat PMD to the punch and called them Turbo TA

Lol I can imagine that...

Alternatively, if they used that marketing term in the late '80's it could have been YUUGE...haha

The only good thing I can think of about that car is that they only made 202 of them.

In fact, if I had enough resources, I'd round them all up and redo them as normal TAs.

LOL.

The modified '73 Formula in post #1 is now listed on eBay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/364238156959

It sold on BaT in May 2022 for $63,000. Now listed on eBay starting at $17,000 and no reserve. Seems odd.

For my taste, that's got to be the best looking vinyl topped 2nd gen F-body I've seen.

Originally white vinyl top.
Probably look better with the white top?

If I was restoring that car I'd have ditched the vinyl.
