Tripower needle seat size
Have a 421 with ramair iv cam..discovered the all 3 tripower carbs have 0.101 needle seat size ..normally the the outercarbs should have 0.68 .stock...its a 64 tripower.... dont know if i should change back....

The 1964 outer carbs uses #30-3 .086" inlet valves and center carb uses #30-9 .101" inlet valve.
I doubt youŽll notice a difference with .086" valves instead of .101", but if you experience nozzle drip in the outers with .101" valves you will have to adjust floats a couple of 32Žs for lower fuel level. |

....thanks for your response..good point was not shure if the bigger size requires to regulate to float level some...i assumed that the bigger size would fill the bowl faster during full throttle..never thought i could affect nozzle drip.. thanks for your input
