Local pick up or I will assist in pallet shipping. I will build a special pallet to ship the engine. You pay shipping from zip code 20601

I do not know what type of Pontiac the engine was pulled from.

- Complete original engine except carburetor
- Engine has never been disassembled
- Block #: 9799140
- Date code: A140 (January 14, 1970)

YH is 2 bolt mains, IIRC. Do you mean the block is merely drilled for 4 bolt mains, but with 2 bolt caps. Or does it have factory installed 4 bolt caps?

Good question as I am not that familiar with this block. According to Angeles and McCarthy PMF book the YH has "4 bolt caps." I can't interpolate that to say the caps are secured by four actual bolts, but the block is drilled to accommodate four bolts for the three center caps

Does the engine turn over by hand? The YH was the Big car engine. I have one in the garage
