Default My latest Gem-77 Can Am

My compulsive car buying disorder is acting up again! I just bought a 77 Can am. It's my first Can Am. Can anybody tell me what models are interchangeable with this car. Floors and trunk are rough, the doors should be replaced, has a broken rear window, and the fenders are questionable. You could also say the interior looks very lived in, (by furry four legged rodents).

Cool I guess...

nobody told you. You only take on a heavy project like this on one of these cars if you are a glutton for punishment! lol Seriously...there are probably fewer parts available for these cars than any other Pontiac you could have chose. But...since you have decided to undertake this project, you will need to get with others that share your afliction. Nobody saves parts from the '73-'77 A-bodies when they get parted. Nothing much is reproduced and I've seen very little available in the way of NOS stuff. Exhaust every avenue and start combing chatrooms. Most of what you find for the car will most likely be by word of mouth...not an ad or a vendor. Sorry if this is not what you were wanting to hear, but I speak from experience. Anyway...neat cars! Good luck. Ron
