Default drivability

seems like every time i take the star cheif out for a drive, and come to a stop after getting her good and hot it seems like she develops a miss and has a hard time running. the engne only has about 10 thousand miles since the rebuild and has a new pertronix flame thrower distributer. i remember some one telling me a long time ago that the coils on top of the distrubuters tend to "goof up" after getting hot. if you replace the coil with diferent one and the problem goes away. just wondering if any one has had a problem like this????

Really not enough information, but from what you have said I would be more inclined to think it was a fuel problem. Maybe on the verge of vapor lock.
