Yeah Poison I agree the Buicks would probably be something much less desirable by now if he didn't have them hidden away like that ---- I just think it's sad that cars like that don't have a good home to be cared for as they once were that's all.
GTOJOHN good luck on getting that last one out of hiding and I agree with Poison got any pics??

Being a fanatic level accumulator myself, I tend to get excited when I meet another one. Last week I met a man who claimed to have 8 million worth of tools, cameras etc in his house. It does not take a genius to guess he is unmarried.
I did not ask about cars but I got this feeling in that direction. I was eager to see his cameras sigh... He claimed to have 15-20 lenses for his Canons including the very longest lenses (pant slobber) I fear that the demise of film and rise of digital imaging will kill off the old film cameras and turn the remainder in to objects of art that have no utilitarian purpose at all cause there is no film being made and no film developing being done, (Very far future....... I hope) I remember the last time the market changed a collectable. The Hunt Brothers bid up the price on Silver back in the early 80's and vast numbers of coins that had collectable value were melted for scrap value and thus gone forever, Is there a danger that the all metal cars from yesteryear will be All melted for scrap? Where does that leave the true collector / restorer of the future. Those Buicks and every other hoard of cars will disappear as the keep / scrap calculations get made. sigh......... cd175

Yep, buy all the wars while you can. While they're still relatively easy to find and relatively cheap. The prices are only going up as old cars get harder to find.

Well I haven't talked to the guy now in almost a year. I'm being patient since this last car is worth more than the other 5 Judges combined.

I knew a guy outside of Tampa like that. He had a huge bldg. full of of nothing but Oldsmobiles. Must have had hundreds. W-30s, W-31s, Indy Pace cars, convertibles, you name it. All just collecting dust. He was going to sell me one of the W-30s, but I didn't have the $3k. It was a solid #3 car.
