Default Looking at a 63...

I'm going to pick up a 63 LeMans tomorrow. I noticed something a little off about the interior. Everything is black except the headliner which is silver. It appears to be the right material, just seems odd.

63 hasn't been tabbed since 1990.

Looks like it's nice and straight! Even saw a Mercury Cyclone parked next to it with stuff all over it!

Drag racing. An adrenalin rush like no other. It felt like going into combat, tasting your first beer, and losing you virginity, all in about 8 seconds.

The car was sitting out under a tarp since 1990. Those years haven't been kind. It is in good shape considering the situation.

I have know about this car for over 10 years. Owner just wouldn't let it go. He heard that I sold my 62 LeMans and asked me what I was going to fill its spot with. Jim said he was ready to sell the 63. His aunt bought the car new in Oak Harbor, Washington. At least thats what I think? Going to get PHS info if they go back that far?

Looks like a nice one, is the 326 complete under the hood? Was the trunk empty, that would be a first...

Nice car! My original 63 326 came to me the same way. Had been inside for years then bought by someone else who keeps it outside. Guy would not sell but I checked back in with him every 3-4 years. Finally get an email out of the blue saying he's ready to sell. Unfortunately, the car was not the same as when I first saw it. The sun and rain did a toll. I told him if only he sold it to me years ago, it would have been in much better shape.......

PHS just in and everthing is still there. Vanity mirror, spare tire cover, pretty cool.
