A friend has a '56 GMC with the (believed to be) original Pontiac engine. The serial # on the side of the block down by the pan rail says 521560. This doesn't seem to come up in any of the books. Should be a 317, but some books say it could be a 347. Anybody have any info, please pass it on [img]tongue.gif[/img]
