Glad you found it. Sure is a relief when you find the source of a nagging problem!

SO I'm in good company with Jim Hand... or is he in good company with me?

Just kidding Jim!

Still waiting for that book of yours, checking the mail daily.......

George

Thank goodness you found it. I was about to jump on a ferry (not that kind)and come help you. Unfortunately they keep breaking down.

I had a Torker that leaked and used silicone to get it to seal. A machine shop should be able to tell whether it's worped or not.

Rosedale to Victoria--that would be a bit of a trip.

You're right. I was reading "Rosedale" but thinking "Rossland" for some reason. You're actually just a few miles east of where my Dad and sister are living--in Mission.

I've been wanting to come over for the Friday Night Drags for some time now but I've wanted to do a couple of things to the car first. I want to install a driveshaft safety loop, a kill switch on the bumper, & seal off the trunk (the battery is there). As I understand it, that's required before I can race.

That doesn't prevent me from watching though. Moreover, my Dad and sister live about 5 minutes away from the track.

I'll probably be over on the weekend of the 24th. Maybe I'll see you there.

Only road racing that weekend and no Friday nite S/L.

This weekend would be good if you like AA/Fuel Dragsters and Pro Street type racing. Friday will be best as they will be doing TandT all day. You can getin for $8.00 and there's no crowd. Or the Old Time Drags in August. There will be some board members from Alberta coming for that one.

Can't make it this weekend. Maybe the first weekend of August for the Old Time Drags.

I really want to attend but every time I leave Vancouver Island it costs me an extra $120 or so in gas and ferry tickets. Also, Old Tyme Drags and the Qualicum Car show (1,000+ cars) conflict 'cause they're on the same weekend. So, I'm want'n to but don't know yet.
