Default S.E. Michigan machine shop

So im pulling my heads off due to bad headgasket. I want a shot to check the heads for any warp. Where should i take them?

Victor Knight in union lake is a good machinist. Owns Knights auto supply (NAPA) store. Where are you? S.E Michigan is a good chunk of land lol

Greg's Cylinders Heads it's just off Fort street in Riverview. They are kinda pricey BUT do GOOD work.

Thanks George. I had a buddy get some work done there. I totally forgot about that shop. I drive by it every day but its tucked way back and you cant see it.

Yea I drive by it a lot also. I've taken my heads to them and my wife's heads off her Supercharger TA.

Milled flat bar, feeler gauge. Keep that stuff in my garage.

Dragncar, i will check them with my straight edge and feeler gage but im just planning for them being warped.

What is acceptable tolerance for cylinder head and block surface flatness?

I have a short flat bar and a long one that runs the length of the head. if its warped it wont be flat side to side, end to end and diagonally. You can find it.
