15 Years on the Forums
They said "it" wouldn't last.

 frittering and wasting the hours in an off hand way.... 1969 GTO, 455ci, 230/236 Pontiac Dude's "Butcher Special" Comp hyd roller cam with Crower HIPPO solid roller lifters, Q-jet, Edelbrock P4B-QJ, Doug's headers, ported 6X-8 (97cc) heads, TKO600, 3.73 geared Eaton Tru-Trac 8.5", hydroboost, rear disc brakes......and my greatest mechanical feat....a new heater core.

i've been reading this forum almost twice a day since 2003. amazing this hobby never gets old. i'm always finding something new to learn or try as well.

I bought my goat in July, 2004 and started looking for answers shortly thereafter. When I found this forum in January, 2005, it was a site for sore eyes, and sore knuckles. It's been great tapping into the know-how of lots of helpful members. Thanks to you all, and thanks to PY/Ames for sponsoring!

Over 11 yrs for me. Started in 2004 with a different screen name, but we moved and changed ISPs so I couldn't sign in until I changed screen names.That was in 2006.

I think I'm just over 10 years on here. It was 2006 when I finally got back in to "the game" with my 68 LeMans ragtop. The info and camaraderie on here has been both invaluable and fun.
EDIT: I see it was Oct 2006.

I had to look up my own join date. Time really flies when you are having fun! 13 1/2 years worth of great cars, good and not so good posts and a wealth of knowledge that I gratefully took advantage of. Hopefully the forums and I will be around for a few more years.
