Here's a great way to slow down maybe even stop. Stereo equipment theft. I have discovered a ingenious little invention called the carpet blade. They are two sided razor sharp and when carefully installed in wiring harness as the perp reaches in for a handful of wire and pulls he/she gets a great surprise.

The immediate need for stiches.

Also leaving DNA evidence to match to the guy at the hosp ER.

Revenge a dish best served cold!!!

And then they would arrest you for setting up a booby trap. The twerp would sue you and come out with a little money for himself and also create a rich attorney.

Is'nt ironic that the law protects the criminal from repurcusions of his own actions by his victims.But does nearly nothing to protect the victim or punish the perp to deter repeated offenses. Damned lawyers !!

Do it anyways. The cops are not going to look for your radio and insurance is going to do everything to not pay to fix your ride so self protection or getting back at em is always better these days. That person will never think twice about doing that to someone again!

You could have just forgot about the blade when you where installing the radio.Using it to stripe wires.Leave a small sign just below dash saying warning sharp objects up in dash carefull. You know thieves always going to fast to read something But take picture of it so when the guy trys to sue you you say sorry HAD warning up! LOL

You got that right about the law/inusrance/cops/etc being setup to protect the criminals. My credit card # just got ripped and charged to Direct TV. Direct TV has told me to go get ****** They say that becasuse I am not a subscriber I am not entitled to any help. That the person who charged my card has a right to privacy??????? That it is none of my business.

Or, when queried as to why the carpet cutter was in the bundle. "Gee, I was wondering where that went! I used it while installing my stereo, and must've forgotten that it was there. I would NEVER wnat to injure the poor person that was trying to relieve me of my property without compensation!"

so you have to cover your a$$. I saw a deal on TV some time ago where this store owner had thieves coming through the Air Conditioning ducts on the roof. So he installed burglar bars and electrified them

. The next time the theives came back they got a nice surprise

. One of them died.

Well the store owner was being charged for murder. They said all he needed to do was put a sign in the duct work that stated "electric security devices" So all you have to do is have some kind of warning. Like "Protected by Smith and Wesson"

Friend of mine came out to his car one day and found a guy laying there under the dash trying to get the radio to of the dah..
He told him to get the #$%#$% out of his car..
The guy get out holding a screwdriver and starts walking twords him saying oh yeah. what ya going to do about it?

So He did was any good concealed weapons permit carrying gun owner would do..

He shot him in the foot..

Dub ass just sat there till the cops hauled him off then tried to have my friend arrested for shooting him.. Didn't work though

I wrapped wire around stereo /igintion wires that I had stripped bare from the coil so that when i Throw switch after turning off car it charges wire.Even with most gloves it will give you Nasty shock Also makes it impossible to keep ahold of wires to cut.Accually I have moved wire to be charge when i set car alarm ,I also but sign that says eletronic theft protection in place attempt theft at own risk on drivers glass by lock staulk coil wire stays charged even if alarm wire is cut.

Had thought about electrifing the door handles but after talking with my brother he said better to zapp them inside vehicle (shows prouf of intent to steal)forgot my self once gives nasty jolt

this along with hidden switch's for igintion will keep my pontiac mine

(brother is insurance lawyer).

Its illegal in many states to set a booby trap.
A farmer who suffered repeated breakins once set a shotgun to fire at the window they came in through most often. The perp lived, sued and got the whole farm. A buddy of mine once taped razors to his car stereo, eventually he returned to find the stereo gone and the interior covered with blood and sliced all to h#@&*! Use a stock AMFM and put everything in the trunk via remote.

Never really had any radio,but have had car stolen. When I feel a theft may occur I tape a razor blade to button on outer door handle-you push you get SLICED!.Trick is to remember that you did it and keep kids/innocents away from harm so you don`t cut yourself or them-but it works...
