1973 GTO shifter question
I am looking at this 1973 GTO. This car is originally was originally equipped with a 3 speed manual. Is this the correct 4 speed shifter?

Found three for comparison, the one you posted looks like it might have a custom bend in it.

I've always wondered if that style shifter was factory. Here's another.......attached is a photo of a 4-speed '73 Grand Am that has the same style shifter with funky bend.

That funky shifter is the correct factory shifter for a Grand Am With a console.

Here is a shot of the IBT shifter in my 73 Lemans Wagon, bench seat, no console. It is the handle on the passenger side floorboard, not the hurst indy the hach before me installed.
