What type of fluid does '69 GTO convertible top motor use? I've heard that some use tans. fluid and that some use hydraulic fluid. Does it matter? And how can I tell which motor I have? Any help will be appreciated? Thanks, SWS.

Use ATF. The procedure for flushing and replacing the fluid is in the 'Body by Fisher' service manual. E-mail me if you need a copy of the instructions.
