I have a rough hood off a 68,69 GTO with a hood tach that needs work.
Located on back of face is the following, 6469702 A9 What did this come off, it has a sticker on the bottom that reads" DO NOT EXCEED" The rest is faded. Its an 8000 tach with a orange line above 5000, it also has "PONTIAC" on the face above the "RPM" It has 2 light bulbs in the body. Thanks, ALAN |

Alan, sure sounds like an original hood tach. If the face backround is blue/grey it is a 68 if it is black, it's a 69-70. We'd probably have to see a picture to ID original or repro for sure.
