HEY GUYS I HAVE A INTERESTING QUESTION FOR YA. I HAVE 68 GOAT AND WHENEVER IPARK HER ON AN INCLINE, WITH THE NOSE UP(NOTHING DRASTIC MIND YOU). MAYBE 25 DEGREES. THE CAR WILL SMOKE HEAVILY WHEN i FIRE HER UP. BUT SHE WONT SMOKE IF ON LEVEL GROUND. COULD IT BE THE STEM SEALS??? THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD THE MOTOR REBUILT SOME YEARS AGO, BUT I MUST SAY SHE RUNS LIKE A RAPED APE. JUST FOUND THIS TO BE ODD. HAVE GOOD OIL PRESSURE BUT I KNOW THATS NOT IT. ANY CLUES???

Does it just blow smoke for a short time? And has it ever backfired when you started it?

well it is just for a few seconds, but the odd thing is it never does it if the car is on level ground!!! any thoughts

are the oil drainback holes plugged in the rear of the cyl heads? mike
