1940s Chest-type Coke Machine - WIW?
Hey guys,
Time to find a new home for the Coca-Cola machine...My brother disassembled it and began stripping paint from a few components about 25 years ago. Being disassembled is a actually good thing because moving it is easy with two guys. As far as I can tell, the machine is COMPLETE. Made by Cavalier, still has its brass serial number plate (uncommon, I am told). Serial number 46487 and has TN-41-5 embossed inside the cooler area. ...Perhaps from 1941? Not sure what official model number this is. I'm doing some research and I don't know what it's worth...I welcome input from those in-the-know. Thanks! |

Those were the good old days.
I wish I had my own place with a roomy garage. I would love to have one of those. I've got a small collection of vintage Coke bottles from the 50s and 60s. I refill them from a 2 liter bottle occasionally. |
