Lares 200 will adapt the jeep box with stock shaft ?

Update- just finished the install. Reman 97 jeep Cherokee box, lares 200 rag joint, lee adapters.

Wow ! What a difference. Wheel is so tight now. I believe I am like 3 1/4 lock to lock. Just need an alignment now. Did inner tie rods, center link and idler arm while under there.

I did this swap with the lee flare adapter inserts and the 86 Mont Carlo SS steering box on my 64 and it worked great too.

I went on Rock Auto and grabbed a quick ratio box for a 1973 Chevelle. Someone on here posted about that option, right when I was interested in switching the box out. It was the easiest thing to do. We had standard steering before, so this was a huge improvement that took no time to install and no adapters. I'm not sure of the ratio, but what an improvement!
