No worries, they are out there but you are going to have to expand your search area. I would look west and south for the type of car you want, get on a plane to check it out/buy it and have it shipped.
Good luck!

Does it have to be a pontiac? Any interest in a 71 survivor 442?

Really want a Pontiac still at this point. Doesn't even have to be a GTO. Lemans, Tempest, or Custom S would all be cool if on the money. Just sold my 78 TA, so ready to buy now. Maybe one of the local guys or dealers may even drag something home from Kissamee or something. Just really looking for a good good car.

I've considered selling my 69 i got last year since i've been doing nothing but my truck and sidecar. Numbers matching except orig block long gone, mild auto 70 gto 455 (made in late 69 for 70 model year.)

Done to look orig, well optioned. I wouldn't be parting cheap, but i'm like an hour from cleveland.

AC/disc/buckets/PS/PBrakes/hidden headlights/clock FACTORY Crys Turq car, paint is 9 out of 10, only one small body repair in the quarter.

If you're really interested, here are some pics and the truck why i rarely drive it.

It has some tasteful changes (2.5 turn steering box, new reman steering pump, 100amp alternator, quartz clock conversion)
455 engine fully documented build from jim taylor.

I'm not a serious seller, it took me over 9 months to find this car, and i was willing to buy nationwide. But, hey, if the price is right.

that is one trick truck/trailer set-up.. What's the scoot? Also...apology for the jack. Love that '69. the 455 doesn't hurt it a bit in my book!

Thanks! I built the trailer and wood in the sidecar floor to match the trailer. It's a 2002 suzuki 800 with an early 70's sidecar. Nothing authentic.

I agree on the 455, it's smooth and tight. But i understand those wanting that factory born block.
