In the early 80's... there was a '69 Trans Am at G&N select auto on east Sprague...

I remember the car.Gordy was the name of the lot owner.I bought a 69 Z/28 instead of it.I still have the Z.
The T/A was brought to town by one of the Gypsy family's.It came from Northport Wa.l kept track of it for a few years until it got totaled out in central Id.After the owner hit a telephone pole with the nose of the car the pole broke in half and the top half of the pole along with the transformer landed on the roof. There was also a white 74 SD 455 auto car for sale on another lot about 2 miles to the east at the same time.

Yep.. Gordy. I managed Wimpys auto center around 1990/1991 and sold a couple of cars for Gordy... one being a yellow '67 442.

I always wondered what happened to that car. I also remember seeing a yellow '71/'72 Formula 455 and a blue '69/'70 4 speed GP sitting on his lot in that same time frame. He used to get all the cool muscle cars

My brother in law still has the GP that you are thinking of,it was kind of like the 3 speed car that just sold as far as options were concerned.

Man there's hardly anything left of the car. I'm sure the special stamps and stuff are correct, but can these me moved to a donar car? I'd think it would cost too much to bring it back, but it would make one more on the road if someone did.

Must be a TA clone on the right hand side of the car hanging from the crane as it is a convertible with stripes.

Here's a 69 convertible that will sell. Even without and engine and trans, it doesn't have rust.

Maybe that's part of the '69 Formula option?

A nicely optioned 69 400. It's a Nov 68 car with the "optional" head restraints. Not sure about the reserve, but this car probably has a lot of money in it as it sits.
