Came across this older post, in hopes of finding a close if not exact match to the snowflake gold wheel paint. And/or a gold color paint that match's the SE stripes. Want a sprayable paint, I know about the K89350 stuff in a can. Had fun reading all the posts here on wheel paint issues.
My experience - I ordered high $$ Wheels from Year one, 2 piece with the polished lips. Beautiful wheels but the Gold Color was IMO just aweful and dull. So I went for it and taped them, sanded lightly, shot a few coats of the rattle can Gold, then clearcoated with Acrylic Urethane with Alsa Gold Pearl added in. The result - stunning.
So I want to repeat this on other wheels and paint stripes on a ZTA Bandit Conversion, but want the correct '77 Snowflake Gold paint that is sprayable, not the can. Summit and others have a million different golds, but whiat is out there that is closest to the True Snowflake Gold?

Score - found this. I hope it is exact or close to the gold used on the 77 SE's.
