Pro Blend "40 Below".
There is a coolant additive called "40 below" & is made by a North Carolina Co. named Pro Blend. It supposedly was designed for NASCAR to help keep cars from running hot. It sells for $29.95 for a 30 oz. can and you're supposed to run two cans in a normal sized cooling system. Is this just another hyped "snake oil" or does it work? Has anyone run it in a street driven car and did it work? Does it really bring water temps. down?

Maybe you can contact them and tell them you are part of a huge car enthusiast community that has overheating and hot running temp issues. See if they will give you some to test. I will buy some if it works. I am sure many will.

i use it in all my cars.
i sell a goodly amount of it, too. i find it's legitimate stuff, and you really only need one can, not 2, for most cars.
