Question 18 inch Derale or Flex-A-Lite?

I know I have already asked this question in another post but I didn't get any responses. In a final effort to help solve my overheating problem I'm going to remove my new Hayden clutch fan #2797 and Hayden 18 in. fan blade #220618 and go with a flex fan. Several posts on this site recommend the Derale #17018 while others recommend the Flex-A-Lite #1818. Have any of you had firsthand experience with either, or both, of these fans and which will probably give more air flow at idle RPM's? If one does provide better cooling that's the one I want to buy. I plan to order one of these from Summit in the next day or so, so any info. you can provide will be appreciated. Thanx!

I used the Flex a Lite #1319 which is a 19", stainless steel 6 blade flex fan rated to 10,000 rpm. It cooled as well as my Pontiac 7 blade Ram Air flex fan. Only criticism of the Flex a Lite is the sharp blades! Watch your fingers! If you are using a shroud, & it was designed for a 19" fan, then using an 18" fan will reduce the shroud's efficiency. Use a 19" fan with a 19" shroud.
