Default Gas Ports

Any advantage to using Vertical Gas Ports VS Horizontal for better ring seal. NA Application. Low tension rings like the Gas ports along with a Good Vacuum pump system to seal up the pings in the bore.

...seal up the rings in the bore. eh.

Probably a requirement for N2O
Probably a mandatory requirement for RPM > ~ 6200-6500

Not an exspert

Vertical will tend to plug up easier as more carbon formation on the crown vs on the roof of the upper ring land.
