Default DCI RA5 63 Tempest

Well guys I wanted to start a post a few months ago but ran into delays working on my tempest..so here it is I bought the aluminum all pontiac block and hired Don to build up a set of his DCI RA 5 cylinder head. Also it's got a Doug Nash 4sp pro shifted Tranz. Should be fun. I'm closer to be Finnished on the RH Header 304 stainless so it's been a challenge for a diesel mechanic to perform the fab skills needed to have to do a nice job. But I did go to high school for 5 years and didn't graduate so I had plenty of shop time to learn how to open the argon bottle before you start to Weld. Now all's I need to do is learn how to upload photos to this impossible website

Some times other members can help you upload pictures, all you have to do is text or email to them?

1) create your post or reply.
2) go to advanced features
3) click on browse
4) find the picture on your computer (I typically store a copy on the desktop before I load the picture or make the post).
5) click upload, then close the browser. at the bottom then post the reply.
6) It should be there along with the pic.

You can do this about 3 times on PY on one reply.. On the turbo forums I get 5 pics possible.

What front plate are you using? Was it made for a 63? Thank you, Mike

Looks good. How about some pix of the car it's going in. Nice to see another '63.

Outstanding! I've had two steel bodied 63 Tempests in my lifetime. Both were great fun and both had 400CID or larger engines, not the 4-banger or 326.

Mike, all pontiac has the motor plates for a 63 all ready made if you need a set he had mine in stock. I Open the wheel well up to the sub frame. I guess it adds about an 1-1/4" more room for some tire size and I also built the transmission tunnel out of a wheel barrel. I cut a new wheelbarrow up and use the curves and Bends to fit them in to the firewall, after that hand bent sheet metal to build the tunnel. Came out OK looks pretty good I just wish I had seam sealed it and painted it before I sent the pictures out but I am very excited to get this thing going. I want to show you guys my progress.. thanks for all your remarks and wishful thoughts thank you very much
