Default 1965 2+2 Catalina 421/4spd/Tri-Power Convertible Very Rare

Selling a 1965 2+2 Catalina 421/4spd/Tri-Power Convertible. Estimated less than 200 built. All original drivetrain front to back. Car has the following options: 8 Lug wheels, tachometer, 3.55 Safe-T-Track rear end, rear trunk light, console was to be added by me and goes with the car. The car has filler in it and is a frame off project, but everything for the car is here. The motor was apparently rebuilt 20 years + ago and put on a stand, but it should be gone through as it has sat for along time. There are receipts for the engine work. It is complete, carbs to pan. The rear quarters will need lower patches on both sides probably in front of and behind the rear wheel. The rockers appear to have filler in them as well and the doors do not have the crisp pinch welds in the corners, so those have filler in them as well. I have the original set of fenders, as well as a good set of donor fenders that go with the car. The rear tail panel piece has been restored and is absolutely gorgeous ($$$$). Alot of the chrome was rechromed many years ago, but it was not stored properly and will have to be done again for a car of this pedigree, but it is all solid and all there. Surprisingly the floor pan and trunk pan are in good shape and will not need replacement. The trunk lid and the hood are also in good shape, as well as the core support. The car does need a frame in my opinion. I have not had the body off the car, so it may be able to be fixed but I can see a few holes in it just looking underneath the car. They are available for about $600-800. This car is very valuable done and I'm aware of the costs of restorations. Is it worth what you'll have in it if you have it done at a resto shop? No! But if you are able to do it yourself, then there is plenty left when you're finished. Or maybe you just want to have one for yourself and have a big wallet, either way, it needs to find a new home as I have one more frame off in me and it's for MY car. I'm asking 20K or best offer and can be reached at 216-392-2909 with any questions. Thanks
