Default FYI....

My son has a decent '67 wheel needing restored that he is willing to sell. Has the "four rivet" spokes. He is Sonic4U on these boards. Thanks. Ron

Sent off a 69 wheel today 12/1/10, as a result of reading this thread. Was unaware that PY offered this service before reading. Pretty excited to have the steering wheel redone. Thanks PY.

Okay so my steering wheel has been with PY since 12/6/10. Stacy updated that it will be another 3 or 4 weeks. Making it 10 weeks for turn around. PY is still waiting on the gentlemen that does the remolding.

Nobody ever accused our service of being fast. ;) Our mold maker is notoriously slow. He's a one man show. The process is difficult and there are many issues to deal with. However, he does nice work and at a very reasonable price. It just takes time.

:) All good. Just excited about having the 40+ year old steering wheel refinished. By the way I second the fact that Stacey rocks! Excellent service while working with her on the phone.

I've pestered him about it too. Tho I think he'd have to use a milk crate to drive his GTO up here. It might not be ready by then. ;)
