I run one. I think I got it from eBay over here. It's a Chinese knock off of a magnaflow from the appearance. Either way it works fine.

It'll weld fine. If you're worried just put flanges on but I wouldn't bother honestly.

Just wondering how tight it will make the frt system...from the headers to the cross over then to the mufflers as I'm only changing the frt section out...compared to the pypes crossover

Ernie can u snap a pic of your cross over setup so I can see how much diff it is from this....

IIRC the X should be 10" past the cross member.

We run 3 different brands of X-pipes. The BBK on my sons car looks like a knock off design of the Magnaflow in question. My father runs a Dr. Gas, and I have a Pypes setup on another.

The Dr. Gas is the only "X" I'm aware of where they designed it for a specific application based on engine size and power made (ie: the size and shape of the crossover inside the "X") Gets a little spendy though.

As far as the other X's go they all pretty much perform and fit about the same. Packaging gets a little tighter so you end up positioning it in the best location for your particular car.

The Pypes fit very well on my 70 Formula, tucked up nicely and cannot be seen anywhere along side the car. Pretty happy with that setup.

Yes that's why I'm looking for the pypes...

The PYPES is adjustable too- that's my biggest knock on some other brands.
That adjustability will allow it to fit up nicely on the inlet and outlet sides of the X.
