Default 1967 Mariner Turquoise GTO Akron Ohio

Needle in a haystack....

I am trying to locate my 67 GTO that I sold. It was mariner turquoise, white pin-stripe, black interior 400 4-speed. The car was stripped and disassembled when I sold it. It was numbers matching as well. I sold it to someone with the last name of King. The person I bought it from had the last name of Hartline. I sold it between 1983 and 1985 in Akron Ohio. I have not had any luck locating it. I would like to purchase it, but would be more than satisfied to just see it again.

Thanks

Scott Hunter

A couple of guys who run Pontiac focused business in Akron, and did back in the 80's are Ron (I think) at Glasco on South Main and Don at (DCI). Both are members of this forum. You might want to look them up.

When I used to live in the Cleveland Ohio are, back around 1993-1994, there was a guy I knew named John Donovan who ran the cruise scene with one matching that description. I've lost touch with him, but let me see if I can find anything out.

I saw one in Solon @ the commons cruise two weeks ago fitting that description. Seems like it had a vinyl top tho. If you are close, 7/9/13 is BOP night there. Check it out yourself. Good luck.
