All please be on the lookout for a 1967 Pontiac 2+2 in the Minnesota area.

It was stolen from garage this morning (Sunday June 6th) between the hours of 1:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

Here are the details:

Year: 1967
Make: Catalina 2+2
Color: Dark Blue

Sure alot of theft going on in the north, at least thats been posted.......dang scared to finish my 71 Cat, and now pondering letting my father in law have my 400 build in his 77 Grand Lemans, without some sort of ability to not have it towed or driven away. Dang sorry about your loss, I will keep an eye out in the south for that rare beaut. I havent seen a 2+2 in quite some time, much less that nice.

posted by Nick today on the 2+2 registry site...

"My car was recovered this afternoon by the Minneapolis Police Department. No idea what has happened or what condition. The guy said, "It looks OK." We'll see. Plan on brining my camera to document for insurance purposes. There is a reason the saying exists, "Drive it like you stole it." One can only hope.

Update tomorrow."

Very glad to hear the car was recovered. I hope it actually is ok. Check out the engine and suspension for any damage. Please keep us informed. Since I'm local I'd like to know who might be responsible and how the theft happened.
